Getting Visas to El Salvador

Visa application and passport with validity of at least 6 months are the necessary documents in all types of visa. Nationals of the following countries that may enter El Salvador without visa include Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, USA, Uruguay and Vatican City.

Requirements for Tourist Visa for non-US citizens are valid passport, passport-size photographs, Proof of financial assistance, copy of airline ticket or verified itinerary and copy of green card (if applicable). For Business visa, the requirements for non-US citizens are the same for tourist visa and in addition, a business letter with company letterhead indicating the purpose, period of the visit and invitation letter from the host company.

The requirements for Tourist Visa for those U.S. passport holders are valid passport, visa application form, passport-size photographs, copies of air tickets and visa processing order form.
