| Contact this school | | Description | | The English as a Second Language Programs has offered excellent English language instruction since 1977. Students study 20 hours of English each week. There is a conditional admission option to a enter a degree program with a TOEFL score of 500-520. (Undergraduate TOEFL requirement is 520, and graduate is 550 for all programs except Architechure (requring 600)
There is also a special Undergraduate TOEFL Waiver Option for students who successfully complete 16 weeks of the Immersion (Advanced) Level. The ESL Program offers admission every four weeks and frequent field trips to area attractions & events. | | Alternate language description | | The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is located in a beautiful residential area of Wisconsin's largest city with one million population. It is an ethnically diverse city with an abundance of parks, museums, art galleries, music, and major league sports. The university has over 100 undergraduate majors, 48 master's degree programs, and 19 doctoral programs. In particular, it offers graduate degrees of several areas of business; architecture; music; computer science, several areas of engineering; nursing; the sciences; and various areas in the liberal arts, to name some.
