The combination of all of these activities makes it one of the most dynamic and influential institutions in the world of performing arts in Europe.
At the Institut del Teatre, we care about the initial and continued training of our students. We offer broad, diversified study programmes. Es un centro superior de formación, investigación y difusión de las artes escénicas creado el año 1913. El conjunto de todas estas actividades lo configuran como una de las instituciones escénicas con más dinamismo y potencial de Europa.
Está formado por cuatro escuelas, un Centro de Documentación y Museo de las Artes Escénicas y cinco salas teatrales. Tiene la sede central en Barcelona y dos centros territoriales en Terrassa y Vic.
En el Institut del Teatre se imparten enseñanzas regladas y no regladas y se organizan diversos acontecimientos, como espectáculos, conferencias, congresos, exposiciones y festivales, el más importante de los cuales es el Festival NEO (Nuevas Escenas Abiertas). Además, el Instituto cuenta con una compañía de danza, IT Danza, que ayuda a los jóvenes bailarines que forman parte de ella a dar el salto hacia la profesionalización.
En el Institut del Teatre nos preocupamos por la formación inicial y continuada de nuestros estudiantes. Te ofrecemos un plan de formación muy amplio y diverso.
