| Contact this school | | Description | | The scientific programme consists of 10 days of lectures alternating with demonstrations and practical periods. Various aspects will be covered in different fields, like oncology and radiology. Target group: Medical students and medical doctors (recently graduated). Number of participants: 30. Requirements: At least three years of medical education and a good command of the English language. Place: The venue of the course is the Utrecht University Medical Centre, which is known as one of the most beautiful, modern, and functional hospitals in Europe. As a university hospital its main tasks are patient care, biomedical research, and training and education. It offers the Utrecht Faculty of Medicine a workplace for education, training, and research. Especially this close and effective interaction between patient care, research and education provides the best opportunities for enhancement of the quality of patient care and medical knowledge. Besides the scientific programme, a social programme will be provided by the medical student organisation (IFMSA-Utrecht). The social programme lasts three weeks, and will include a city tour to Amsterdam and The Hague, visits to several other beautiful places in the Netherlands and a sailing trip.
