The Poyet Method's craniosacral therapy is a therapeutic procedure that UIC include in the list of manual therapies. It pulls heavily from classic osteopathy insofar as construct and biomechanics are concerned, although it has a robust grounding in energetics. The important basis of cranial mechanics as founded by Sutherland is essential for developing a general understanding of this technique.
