Foreign students wishing to apply to medical schools in the country have to present an application for a student visa to an embassy of the Russian Federation. Students also need to have done courses in chemistry, physics, biology, and English and received passing grades. Despite the fact that students can still learn in English, they are also expected to demonstrate familiarity in the Russian language or to take part in a Russian course. Students are also expected to submit a valid passport, HIV negative test and chest x-ray results.
It is important to note that students are not expected to take the TOEFL/IELTS exam to get admission in medical schools in the country.
