There will be limited single room options primarily available in Owen Hall and North Neighborhood. To provide an opportunity for everyone interested in a single room to request one, students will complete the Single Room Interest Form and we will randomly assign interested students the ability to select single spaces.

Where do most freshmen live at MSU?

It contains the Akers, Holmes and Hubbard dormitories. In East Neighborhood, you will find a lot of freshmen as each of the dorms houses mainly freshmen, as well as a few sophomores in Holmes. There are two dining halls located in East, as one is in Akers and the other is in Holmes Hall.

Online Room Selection (OLRS) is an online self-assignment room selection process for First-Time Freshmen. To participate in OLRS and secure their bed space, freshmen students will first be required to sign their online MSU Housing contract during the month April.
