FLVS instructors utilize technologies to check for authenticity. Copying, knowingly allowing others to copy from you, and/or misusing the internet content could result in removal from your course. Academic integrity is the cornerstone of learning at FLVS.

Can you quit FLVS?

If a classroom has not been assigned yet, the course can be dropped from your child's dashboard. Once a classroom is assigned, you will need to call or email the assigned teacher to request withdrawal.

Does FLVS give you a computer?

All laptops are provided to students to support their academic performance and completion of class assignments. The program limit is set as a once-per-lifetime laptop per student. Technical support/replacements will not be provided.

Any student who does not make progress in the course for a period of 14 days and has not made prior arrangements with their teacher will be contacted by their instructor in an attempt to communicate the urgency of recommitting to the course.

How does FLVS homeschool work?

FLVS provides students the opportunity to enroll in courses at any point throughout the year, allowing students to earn required credits on their unique schedule. In order to avoid overwhelming the students with a full load, FLVS recommends homeschool students take no more than 3 to 4 courses at one time.

Is cheating in online school illegal?

Yes, the school may pursue criminal charges based on the accusation of academic dishonesty. When bribery or fraud is in play, criminal prosecution is possible.
