Could you have a roommate from the opposite gender at UCLA?

Housing Services has the ability to assign students of different genders to the same room, in gender inclusive housing, upon request. Students interested in gender inclusive housing should indicate their interest within the housing application.

Who gets priority housing at UCLA?

Departmentally allocated graduate students are given the highest priority and are offered first. After them, graduate students and residents are considered. Post-doctoral scholars, fellows, and visiting graduate researchers will only be considered once all students and residents have been accommodated.

Does UCLA have roommates?

Your Room Sign Up time will be emailed to you after the application deadline. The roommate group process will be available immediately after you submit your application. You will be able to form a roommate group with students you would like to live with for the 2024-2025 academic year.
