With all of that being said, it's unfortunately very rare to get into an Ivy League school with C's during your freshman year, or at any time during your high school career. Yes, there are exceptions but it's never a good idea to hinge your hopes on the very small chance that something might happen.Can one class mess up your GPA?
Depending on your college's GPA scale, that can mean anything below a 1.0 or 0.7 GPA counts as a failed class. If you fail a class, you'll get a 0 on your transcript — and that can bring down your GPA. Failed classes count toward your GPA, though some colleges do not count pass/fail classes in your GPA calculation.How many W's on a transcript is bad?
To put it simply, it will depend on how many Ws you have. For the most part, one or two withdrawals will not impact your admission decisions. However, more than one or two-course withdrawals are symbolic of a deeper issue.Can FLVS catch you cheating?

There isn't much academic pressure, honestly. Most classes require you to turn in 3–5 assignments a week, so you stay on pace. The classes are actually quite easy, if you ask me.Is FLVS easy?
Taking core courses through FLVS is a lot easier than you may think; teachers are available when needed, and they tailor live instruction and communication based on their students' preferred learning environment.Do you get a diploma with FLVS?

At many high schools, honors and AP classes both offer more heavily weighted training compared to regular classes. While honors courses usually add 0.5 points to your GPA, AP classes often add 1 point. Due to their weighted scale, AP courses offer students the chance to really boost their GPA. Additionally, AP classes can also help students maintain their 4.0 or higher GPA, even if they don't get an A.Is a 2.1 A bad GPA?
Is a 2.1 GPA in high school considered good? A 2.1 is equivalent to a 76%, or a C. While a grade of “C” is generally considered “average,” unfortunately it won't help with college admissions. Students enrolling in Grade 1 must be 6 years old on or before September 1 in the school year for which they are enrolling and must have successfully completed a Kindergarten program. Students can enroll through age 19 but must complete their courses before age 21.Can FLVS help you graduate early?
Students take FLVS courses to get ahead or graduate early, to allow flexibility for extracurricular activities, or to take courses not offered by their district.Does FLVS have prom?
While Florida Virtual School doesn't host a prom, they do host an annual Grad Bash for their seniors. This year it was at Universal Studios. As described on their website, “Grad Bash is an exclusive event for high school seniors held at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
