Students enrolling in Grade 1 must be 6 years old on or before September 1 in the school year for which they are enrolling and must have successfully completed a Kindergarten program. Students can enroll through age 19 but must complete their courses before age 21.Can FLVS detect cheating?
FLVS instructors utilize technologies to check for authenticity. Copying, knowingly allowing others to copy from you, and/or misusing the internet content could result in removal from your course. Academic integrity is the cornerstone of learning at FLVS.Can you quit FLVS?
If a classroom has not been assigned yet, the course can be dropped from your child's dashboard. Once a classroom is assigned, you will need to call or email the assigned teacher to request withdrawal.Can you drop out of FLVS?

Due to their weighted scale, AP courses offer students the chance to really boost their GPA. Additionally, AP classes can also help students maintain their 4.0 or higher GPA, even if they don't get an A.Does FLVS pay for AP exam?
Florida Virtual School will reimburse the school for the cost of ordering the exams for all students who took the AP® course with FLVS. FLVS does not reimburse for all AP exams. We reimburse for exams when the child completes one full segment of a two- segment course. Or, one full semester of a one semester course.Can you graduate with FLVS?
Yes, FLVS Full Time is considered the primary public school of record for enrolled students and issues diplomas to seniors who meet the Florida Department of Education requirements for graduation.Can you take FLVS in the summer?
We offer a wide variety of online courses for Kindergarten–12th grade that are tailored to student needs. Does FLVS issue diplomas or GEDs? FLVS Flex homeschool students are not eligible to receive a diploma or GED directly from FLVS. However, students enrolled in FLVS Full Time do graduate with a diploma.Do FLVS students get a diploma?

Take individual courses through FLVS Flex, either in addition to courses at a traditional school or as part of a homeschool education. Take all courses through FLVS Full Time exclusively. Student is not enrolled in a traditional school or registered as a homeschool student.
