Can you reapply to UCL?

UCL will not consider any new information or documentation that is submitted as a result of any feedback received. Applicants who wish to be re-considered are required to re-apply the following year and to be considered in competition with all other applicants.

Does UCL accept second year transfer?

UCL considers transfers into the second year of an undergraduate programme for a limited number of programmes. We do not consider entry into year 3 of any of our undergraduate programmes. Applications should be made via UCAS by the UCAS equal consideration deadline and include a reference from your current institution.

Do UCL accept resits?

Resits. Resits are generally considered for most of our programmes. Any programmes that do not consider resits will outline this on their department webpages.

Does UCL accept gap years?

Students are welcome to apply for deferred entry if they would like to take a gap year. Making an application on this basis does not affect your chance of being selected. However requests to defer made after an offer has been made will be considered on an individual basis but are not always granted.

Does UCL accept year 12 retakes?

We are unable to accept A level (or equivalent) resits (including re-starting year 12) unless your first attempt was impacted by extenuating circumstances. If you do not meet our GCSE requirements, you may re-sit GCSE subjects.

Will UCL accept me with lower grades?

UCL's entry requirement range is A*A*A–ABB. 2. UCL has a benchmark entry level of ABB at GCE A level and does not make offers of admission with any grades lower than B.
