Study, Work or Volunteer in Poland

Poland, officially known as the Republic of Poland, takes a huge swaddle of territory in north-central Europe, surrounded by Germany to the west, the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the south, and Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania and Russia to the east. A good deal of northern and central Poland is comprised of agricultural plain land and lightly rolling countryside. Yews and oaks are the longest-living trees. The country’s noted monument oaks are Bartek, Chrobry, Czech, Lech and Rus which are all over 700 years old. Poland's oldest ash and elm are more than 400 years old.

In 1980, Solidarity trade union arose to fight Poland's Communist government. Consequently, it took down Communism in Poland, and arguably set off revolutions that spanned during the late 1980s. In the south, beneath Kraków, arise the imperial High Tatras, one of Europe's most stark attractive ranges. In north, the Baltic seacoast, with its clean beaches, extends for miles. The northeast is dealt with lakes that flow to the borderlands on Lithuania and Belarus. In the east, you'll discover spots of some Europe's last-persisting aboriginal forest and a small living herd of indigenous bovid that once prominent part of the Continent. The capital of Poland and largest city is Warsaw.

It is approximated that over 90% of Poles are nominal Roman Catholic. Still 58% of the total populations are actively practicing of their selected religious belief. Polish folk music might hold an important perspective in the general national consciousness, but it’s particularly vibrant in the folk cultures encountered mainly among the country's nonages and in its southern and eastern regions. Traditionally, Poland is recognized for its coal, ship building, and steel industries, although these days’ medicines, cosmetics and textile products frequently made under license for Western empires– are progressively crucial sources of foreign earnings.
